Committees
In order to carry out all the Club projects throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.
Adult Dodgeball Tournament
Organizes our Adult Dodgeball Tournament including marketing, scheduling, and operation.
*All club members are expected to participate in some aspect of the event.
Christmas Tree Sales
Organizes our Christmas Tree Sales including ordering, marketing, and scheduling.
*All club members are expected to participate in the event.
Wellness
Communicates regularly with members about the health, welfare, and any special needs of members and their families.
Communications
Updates and maintains our website and redirects enquiries to the appropriate Optimist committees and members.
Community Service
Handles all requests from outside agencies regarding funding or other types of support and makes recommendations to members.
Responsible for the disbursement of the budgeted funds to the various community groups, bringing new requests to the club and arranging for the various groups to make presentations to the club.
House and Reception
Organizes all aspects of our regular and special meetings including scheduling, booking, promotion, and program.
Membership
Promotes new membership, operates recruitment booths at club events and follows up with invitations to potential new members.
Youth Dodgeball
Organizes our Youth Dodgeball Program including sponsorship, registration, marketing, scheduling, and operation.
Youth Soccer
Organizes our Youth Soccer Program including sponsorship, registration, marketing, scheduling, and operation.
